Agro-Produce
The Isura Group has made substantial investments in developing various agri-produce supply chains. It has also invested in the training and recruiting of its high-quality personnel and created a strong customer base. This has attracted global brands who source products from the company's commodity portfolio and have become some of its main clients.
The Company currently aggregates and trades in six core products: coffee, shea nuts, soybeans (non-GMO), raw cashew nuts, poultry and cassava chips.
Agro Commodities

Shea Nuts
Shea, the "butter tree" or "women's green gold", grows in the wild on approximately 2 million square miles across the sub-Saharan geographical zone: the "shea belt". The shea tree only grows in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Sudan, Togo, DRC, and Uganda. The largest 'non-traditional' market for shea butter has used it as a source of vegetable fat (stearin), mainly in the formulation of Cocoa Butter Equivalents (CBEs) used in the manufacture of chocolate and other confectionery products. In addition, leveraged as a prized ingredient in cosmetics, skincare, and culinary products.
The Isura Group’s shea nut production empowers local African communities, particularly women, by providing income opportunities and promoting sustainable land management practices. Almost everything from the shea tree – fruit, nuts, leaves, bark, roots, and dead wood – is used for food, pharmaceutical products, soaps, and cosmetics. A large proportion of the butter is used for local consumption, making it an essential source of food and hence of food security.

Soya Beans (Organic non-GMO)
As a versatile legume, soya beans serve as a crucial source of protein and oil in various food products. It is a species of legume native to East Asia, widely grown for its edible bean, contributing to animal feed, cooking oils, and plant-based alternatives, addressing nutritional demands and supporting agricultural economies.
The Transitional Ecological Zones (Central to Northern) of Ghana and Togo produce more than 85% of organic non-GMO soybeans in these two countries. It is from this large pool of production that The Isura Group sources its exports in the current and coming years ahead. We have witnessed a spike in demand for soybeans due to increased production of soybean milk, soybean oil and as livestock feed. This has led to increased production of soybean in the country and that of its neighbors.

Our cassava chips supply chain involves FBO and out growers tied to our core SME suppliers for 80% to 90% of our supplies. Cooperatives, Contract Farmers, and SMEs grow exclusively for The Isura Group under contract. The growers are a combination of smallholders and medium to large-scale contract farmers covering a combined acreage of 75,000 hectares (equivalent to 1.5 million tons per annum of raw cassava output. This translates to about 500,00 MT of cassava chips per annum) involving a minimum of 10,000 farm households across the transitional ecological zone of Ghana and the lower reaches of the Savanah.
